For 25 years I have supported thousands of families.

Alongside my clinical work in maternity wards, NICU, breastfeeding clinics and home visits, I also teach other health professionals about breastfeeding and infant feeding in online courses.

I speak at midwifery conferences and have been interviewed on many podcasts. And I host my own podcasts, discussing all things breastfeeding and babies!

My passion is to provide warm-hearted and kind consultations that are grounded in evidence-based knowledge and years of clinical practice, meaning you receive support that is both practical and up-to-date.

I know that feeding challenges can feel overwhelming. My aim is to help you understand what is happening and guide you toward solutions that work for you and your family.

 What happens during a consultation

During our session we take the time to understand what is really happening with feeding.

• Talk through your pregnancy, birth and feeding history

• Observe a full feed where possible

• Look carefully at positioning, latch and sucking patterns or perhaps how you are using the pump and bottle

• Explore any challenges affecting supply, comfort or baby's behaviour

From there we create a clear plan so you know:

 • what is happening

• what steps to take next

• how to know things are improving
